Remodel debris inside a trailer dumpster

Construction Dumpster Rental for Contractors

On a job site, the dumpster that causes trouble is the one that goes over weight or sits in the way. Here's how to plan yours.

5.0 on Google and Yelp · 237 reviews

237 reviews. 5.0 stars.

That's 67 on Google and 170 on Yelp: 23 on our Los Angeles page and 147 on our earlier listing, all for the same business. Reviews mention on-time arrival, easy scheduling, friendly crews and fair pricing.

Plan by weight, not just by yard

A dumpster can look half empty and already be over its limit. Included weight is 2,000 lbs on the 10 and 15 yard and 3,000 lbs on the 20 yard, and overage is $7 per 100 lbs.

What you're tossing How it behaves What to do
Framing, drywall, cabinets Bulky, fills up fast Size up
Roofing and tile Heavy for its size Tell us first
Concrete, brick, dirt Very heavy Ask before loading
Rough guide: one cubic yard of solid concrete weighs about two tons. That's double the included weight of a 10 yard, before you've filled a tenth of it.

Why a trailer dumpster suits tight sites

  • It tows behind a pickup, so it can reach sites where a large roll-off truck can't.
  • It rolls in on wheels instead of being slid off onto the ground, which is easier on a finished driveway.
  • Your customer sees you protecting their property from day one.

Tell your crew what can't go in

A dumpster on a job site gets filled by whoever walks past it. Make sure your subs know that hazardous waste, chemicals, oil, paint and tires can't go in. Heavy items go in first, spread evenly across the floor, and the load has to stay level and inside the walls so it's safe to tow. Thirty seconds at the morning huddle can save you an argument later.

If your job changes

Jobs slip. Rates are for 1 or 3 days, and extra days are quoted before you book. If you think you'll need longer, see long-term rental. If you'd rather have us load the debris, see construction debris removal.
