LASAN or a crew?
City of LA sanitation customers get no-charge curbside bulky pickup with one business day's notice at 1-800-773-2489, and LASAN says collection is generally on your trash day in the Palisades. That's a great option for a few items you can get to the curb. A crew makes more sense when there's a lot to carry, a steep driveway or a deadline.
Not on our truck
We can't take paint, oil, chemicals, batteries or tires. The West LA S.A.F.E. Center at UCLA takes household hazardous waste free for City and County residents, up to 125 pounds or 15 gallons a visit. Check its hours before you drive.

We were on a job in Pacific Palisades on July 14, 2026. Expensive properties don't deserve courtesy more than modest ones, and modest properties don't deserve it less. The service should be the same.
