Shed type changes the job

Wood Often the most straightforward to take apart. Rot can make it weak, so tell us if it's unsafe to enter.
Metal Lighter, but it can have sharp edges and rust.
Plastic Usually comes apart easily and takes up little room.

Check these first

An older shed can have siding or roofing that contains asbestos, and South Coast AQMD has rules for demolition. If yours is old, or you're unsure what it's made of, check before work starts. We can't take hazardous waste.
  • Empty out paint, fuel, pool chemicals and batteries. We can't take them.
  • Have any power to the shed disconnected.
  • Tell us if it's on a slab, on blocks or on bare ground. We don't remove concrete slabs as a service.

Stuffed full?

We can clear what's inside too. Point out what stays, and we'll load the rest. It all goes by how much of the truck it fills, so one visit can often handle the shed and its contents.

What it costs

Send photos of the shed, the inside and the path to the street. Size, material and access make the biggest difference. You'll hear the price before we start.

We work in Encino, Tarzana, Van Nuys and Woodland Hills, along with the rest of Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.

Driveway Safe is licensed and insured, and it's owned and run by David Steven in Lake Balboa. Call or text 818-231-3056 any hour, and tell us what you're working on.
