Where Does Your Junk Go After Pickup in Los Angeles?
Short answer: to a licensed disposal facility, every load. Here's why we tell you that plainly instead of making green promises.
5.0 on Google and Yelp · 237 reviews
From your driveway to the facility
- Our crew carries out and loads what you point to. You don't lift anything.
- We take it to a licensed disposal facility.
- The facility takes it from there.
Why we don't call ourselves green
A lot of haulers put "eco-friendly" on the truck. We don't offer recycling or donation services, so we won't claim them. Want to keep things out of the landfill? Set aside anything reusable before we arrive.
Check everything before we arrive
Sometimes a family photo is in the box going out. When we arrive, walk through with us and point out anything that stays. Check drawers, pockets and boxes first. Once a load leaves, it's hard to get anything back.
What to ask a hauler who says they recycle
- Where, exactly, do you take it? Can you name the place?
- How much of a typical load actually gets recycled?
- Do you sort it yourselves, or does the facility?
- Can you show me a donation receipt if you donate my items?
A real answer is specific. A vague one tells you something too.
