Much of Lake Balboa used to be called Van Nuys. The LA City Council renamed it in 2007.
It sits between Northridge, Reseda and Van Nuys, just north of the Sepulveda Basin.

- Move anything you're keeping or giving away to one side. Everything we load leaves with us.
- Point out what goes and what stays.
- Tell us about stairs. Each flight adds $20.
- Keep paint, oil, chemicals, batteries and tires out of the pile. We can't take them.

Is Lake Balboa part of Van Nuys?
Not anymore. In 2007, the city renamed a large part of Van Nuys as Lake Balboa. It is still in the City of Los Angeles.
Where do I take paint or batteries?
Take them to a free S.A.F.E. center. One is at 11025 Randall St. in Sun Valley.
Who owns Driveway Safe?
David Steven owns and runs it. We're based in Lake Balboa.
Do you rent dumpsters too?
Yes. Our trailer dumpsters come in 10, 15 and 20 yard sizes. Prices start at $440.
